Achievements:Gymnastics and Tae Kwon do
The children in Ballinacarriga N.S. take part in a wide range of physical activity outside of school. Below are just a few of the children who have taken part in gymnastics and tae kwon do competitions and brought in their medals to school to celebrate their success.

All the children had a fantastic time taking part in Operation Transformation’s 10 @ 10 on the 10th of February to promote physical activity in school. Have a look at the videos below to see how they got on.

Sowing & Growing Vegetables
In the senior room we have been busy sowing and growing tasty vegetables. The initiative involves the children growing and caring for cress seeds, runner beans and baby carrots!! We will be monitoring our little garden carefully- watch this space!
Valentine’s Day
Love was in the air for Valentine’s Day as we made fantastic colourful cards for moms and dads!
The gang worked very hard and the results are plain to see!! Super job guys!!! 
Physical Activity: Hurling & Camogie
Congrats to the 3rd & 4th class boys & girls who have reached the finals in hurling and camogie in Cork. Dates to be finalised.
