Our Wall Mural
We are delighted with our beautiful mural on the back wall. The children worked hard creating designs to decorate our wall. A special word of thanks to Audrey O’Mahony for the time she spent on this project. We appreciate the time and effort contributed by the children, parents and staff for doing a lovely job. Well done!!
‘Wellbeing Wednesday’
As part of the Amber Flag initiative, the heallth promoting schools team hosted a ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ event. There was a great turnout and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
Trip to Kilmichael Ambush site
The 3rd to 6th class went to the ambush site in Kilmichael on Monday 6th March with Charles Mccarthy & Conor O Driscoll. They visited the monument and the house where the boys went after the ambush. They saw the bog where 3 of the boys of Kilmichael were temporarily buried- today there is a cross standing in the bog.
A big thank you to Charles, Conor and Claire O Brien for bringing the children & for their wealth of knowledge!!
