Partnerships: Contact Rugby

The boys in sixth class had a fantastic day at a contact rugby blitz in Dunmanway Rugby club. They boys got to learn new skills like passing and tackling as well as making new friends from other schools. 

Physical Activity: Easter Egg Hunt

 

The whole school took part in an Easter egg hunt with a twist this Easter. Each egg contained an exercise the group had to carry out and some eggs had letters in them as well to find a hidden message.

The children had to work as a team and experienced a wide range of exercises. Well done to the senior classroom who came up with the exercises and the Active Schools committee who organised it.

The children also carried out bunny hop races and egg and spoon races for fun.
