Sciath na Scoil 2013
Congratulations to our boys who won their Sciath na Scoil final in Dunmanway on Thursday the 16th of June.
Congratulations also to all who took part in the hurling and camogie blitz in Clonakilty on Wednesday the 12th of June.
Science Exhibition
This year in Ballinacarriga NS we have been working hard to achieve the Discover Primary Science and Maths award. As part of this we held a Science Exhibition, which involved the children setting up some of the experiments they carried out over the year and demonstrating and explaining these to all of our visitors. The day was a great success and we hope that everybody who visited us learned something new.
Cork City Sports 2013
Ballinacarriga NS experienced great success in the Cork City Sports again this year. Both the boys and girls won cups for being the best school in their group. Our boys won their rely. Many children won medals in their races, four children progressed to the county semi-finals and our very own Maeve O’ Neill won the girls u10 county final. Congratulations to all those who took part.
