Boy’s Hurling February 2014
Congratulations to the 3rd and 4th Class boys, who played against Derrinacahara, Knockskeagh, Laragh and Gaelscoil Kinsale in the seven-a-side 4th Class indoor hurling competition. The competition was held in the Community Hall in Ballinacarriga on Wed 5th February and our boys won all of their four matches! They scored an amazing 18 goals in total and will go through to the county semi-finals in March.
Sciath na Scoil 2013
Congratulations to our boys who won their Sciath na Scoil final in Dunmanway on Thursday the 16th of June.
Congratulations also to all who took part in the hurling and camogie blitz in Clonakilty on Wednesday the 12th of June.
Cork City Sports 2013
Ballinacarriga NS experienced great success in the Cork City Sports again this year. Both the boys and girls won cups for being the best school in their group. Our boys won their rely. Many children won medals in their races, four children progressed to the county semi-finals and our very own Maeve O’ Neill won the girls u10 county final. Congratulations to all those who took part.
Indoor Hurling
Congratulations to the Boys who took part in the Indoor Hurling Competition in Na Piarsaigh on Wednesday 14th of March. They came 3rd in the competition. Well done!!!
Indoor Hurling
Congratulations to the boys indoor hurling team who took part in the Sciath na Scol competition in Ballinacarriga Hall on Tuesday 7th February. After a fantastic victory the boys will now be taking part in the next round of the competition in Na Piarsaigh on Wednesday 14th March. Best of luck to all involved!
Indoor Camogie
Well done to the Ballinacarriga girls who took part in an indoor hurling blitz on Tuesday 7th of Febuary. They came second overall in the blitz after winning two matches, drawing two matches and losing only one. Well done girls!
